This fine landmark building was originally owned by Dame Adelina Patti one of the most famous opera singers in the world in the nineteenth century. It first stood in the grounds of her lavish house, Craig-y-Nos (the 'Rock of the Night' in Welsh), in the Upper Swansea Valley near Abercrave. In 1918 she donated it to the people of Swansea and it was dismantled and re-erected after her death in its present location in 1920. Since then the building has been the venue for a wide variety of events. This blogspot is for you to reminisce and share your memories of the Patti.
